GIULIANO GUARNERI
RESIDENT TEACHER
Since childhood, I’ve been attracted by the eyes of strangers, feeling an irresistible pull toward them. To me, those eyes were windows into their innermost feelings, a pathway to their soul. As I sat down to draw, I lost myself in the process, it felt like I wasn’t merely sketching a stranger face but drawing instead a piece of my own being. Yet, the mystery of truly connecting with another soul remained elusive for long time. This searching for deeper understanding finally led me on a spiritual journey. Seeking answers, I delved into philosophical writings, sacred text and various yoga traditions. I became a yoga teacher, exploring different paths, and began studying aura reading, but something still felt incomplete.
Everything shifted 14 years ago when I was initiated into the Kriya Yoga lineage through the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. This profound practice, blending deep breathing, visualization, chanting, concentration and silent meditation, opened a new dimension of connection—both to myself and others. It was then that I began to experience the spiritual depth I had been longing for, bridging the gap between art and soul.
ROOT LINAGE: Kriya Yoga has been passed down directly from master to disciple through an unbroken lineage: from Babaji Maharaj to Lahiri Mahasaya, then to Swami Shri Yukteshwar, followed by Paramahansa Yogananda, and continuing to the present Kriya Yoga masters.
