MICHAEL COONEY
RESIDENT TEACHER
For me, Qigong is a practice of resonance, cultivating the skill to more clearly see how my internal world aligns with the external world all around. Living and practicing in New York, where we are forced to bathe in the chaos, joy and terror of humanity every day, the centeredness brought by Qigong is an invaluable experience. I have been a dedicated student of Yoga and meditation for over 30 years, and Qigong and other shamanic practices for the last ten. All of these disciplines find their way into my teaching, and I endeavor to bring a sense of juxtaposition and inclusiveness into every class. I am grateful to be able to share this knowledge and my practice with you.
ROOT LINAGE: Sharing from the classical Chinese arts Qigong lineage of our root teacher Master Zhongxian Wu ancient arts of internal cultivation, and his student our master teacher of the Xing Ming Gong system Thomas Droge.
